Question: How much does a website cost?

Question: What about web hosting?

Answer: Basic hosting is cheap. As a convenience, we are pleased to offer complementary (i.e. "free") basic website hosting services for the first year on website design projects of a certain size. If you will be operating an e-commerce website, then you should purchase a security certificate, which does cost extra. If you prefer to establish your own website hosting plan with the provider of your choice, it's no problem! Most of the major hosting companies provide a reputable, stable hosting platform that supports the latest versions of PHP and MySQL. Be sure to get a domain name, too!

Question: Will I be able to update my new website myself?

Answer: No problem! Just ask for a Content Management System (CMS). A CMS makes it easy for you to maintain your site yourself without learning any HTML. With a CMS, you can add photos, update text, create links, and even post new pages; all as often as you like.

Question: What does your name mean?

Answer: A widgeon is a kind of a duck. We may have used the European spelling of this duck's name; it reminded us of "widget." In part, the name is meant to evoke a connection with nature; but mostly, we just thought that it sounded nice.
